CATSKILL
NATIVE
NURSERY
Blackgum or Tupelo, Nyssa sylvatica has few rivals when it comes to foliage color in the fall. One of the first trees to change - it’s glossy green summer foliage turns a lustrous crimson especially when the tree is grown in full sun. It’s a slow grower and somewhat awkward in youth, but should be used more widely in our landscapes.
