We are located at the edge of the southern Catskill Mountains in Ulster County New York. You can find us at Box 607 Samsonville Road, just 5 miles from Route 209 in Kerhonkson. We are 23 miles west of Kingston and 24 miles northwest of New Paltz. Please call or email us if you need more detailed instructions on how to get to us from anywhere in New York. Or try Mapquest for detailed directions.

The beginning and end of our season each year is dependent on weather. We usually open in mid-April when the snow has finally melted and close a little after the first hard frost when perennials have died back (usually around Halloween). The procrastinating gardener with an urge to plant a tree or shrub before the ground freezes can usually find us putting the nursery away for the winter through Thanksgiving - please call first to make sure someone is at the nursery and we’d be happy to have you take a plant home. After Thanksgiving, we begin to hibernate and it’s generally best anyway to wait for spring to plant.

Our hours are Thursday thru Monday from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
