A superb ornamental shrub with coarse textured, dark green leaves that turn butter yellow in the fall. Long bottle-brush-shaped inflorescences with hundreds of white flowers are a favorite nectar source for butterflies. The pear-shaped brown seed capsules that follow are ornamental as well. Perfect for underplantings, shrub borders and natural screens.
